Our Mission

The Playbook Moon Objectives

1) Travel 1 km on lunar surface

2) Transmit images, videos and conduct 2-way BBM conversation with BlackBerry users on Earth

3) Test extraction of water (to convert to oxygen and hydrogen fuel) and helium-3 (used in nuclear fusion and sells for $2,000/liter)

Our mission is to inspire Canada the way John F Kennedy inspired the U.S. with the moon landings in the 1960′s.  We are aiming to spark a generation of breakthrough innovation across Canada.  Our longer-term goal is to make Canada a leader in high-tech in the 21st century.

Once we have adequate funding and parts, we will form an engineering team at McMaster University to build the rover.  While this project will initially involve only one team, our plan is to have additional projects at multiple universities across Canada once the funding and parts are available.
